Mild Obesity-Related Diabetes (MOD) - symptoms and how to test

Patients with mild obesity-related diabetes (MOD) have a high BMI and mild to moderate insulin resistance. People with a milder form of diabetes, where there aren't as many metabolic problems, have this subtype. Obesity may be linked to MOD, but not as much as it is linked to SIRD. Glycemic control is pretty good, and there aren't as many microvascular and macrovascular problems as with other clusters. It has a lower rate of obesity-related health problems like high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and NAFLD.
