STDs - symptoms and how to test
Sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) are highly prevalent. Each year, millions of new cases emerge in the United States. Vaginal, oral, and anal intercourse are all vectors for the spread of sexually transmitted diseases. Women are biologically more vulnerable to sexually transmitted diseases and HIV than males. A sexually transmitted disease can affect anybody who engages in sexual activity. Some STDs, if left untreated, can lead to significant health issues, so getting tested if you suspect you have one is crucial. In addition, having one STD increases your risk of contracting others, including HIV.
