Hepatitis B - symptoms and how to test

The hepatitis B virus causes an infection of the liver that can be prevented with a vaccination (HBV). An infected individual's blood, sperm, or other bodily fluids can transmit hepatitis B to a healthy person. Everyone in the age range of zero to eighteen. Individuals who engage in sexual activity but are not in committed, monogamous relationships with others. Persons of the male gender who engage in sexual relations with other males. Hepatitis B testing can reveal whether or not the patient has had an HBV infection in the recent past. Blood samples are tested for the presence of the Hepatitis B virus. Hepatitis B can be diagnosed, the severity of the condition assessed, and immunity determined by testing.
