Chronic vomiting - symptoms and how to test
Chronic vomiting is an illness characterised by episodes of acute nausea and vomiting that occur suddenly and repeatedly. A single episode might last anywhere from a few hours to many days. It can start at any age but typically manifests in kids between 3 and 7. The prevalence in children is higher, although there has been an uptick in the number of adult cases identified. Because nausea and vomiting are symptoms of so many diseases, it's hard to tell which one is causing the condition. To rule out other diseases and disorders that might be causing your sickness, your doctor may order a series of tests.
