Cervical squamous cell carcinoma - symptoms and how to test

Cervical squamous cell carcinoma is a subtype of cervical cancer. The outer layer of the cervix is lined by tissue that contains squamous cells. Under a microscope, these cells have a scaly appearance, much like those found on fish. Squamous cell carcinomas are the most common kind of cervical cancer.
