Bacterial vaginosis - symptoms and how to test

Bacterial vaginosis is caused by an overabundance of a particular type of vaginal bacteria. In women between the ages of 15 and 44, BV is the most frequent vaginal condition. However, it can happen to women of all ages, including those who have never had sexual activity. To determine if you have bacterial vaginosis, a test can be done to examine your vaginal fluid.
