Qual è l’attività dell’Ambulatorio di Allergologia? L’Ambulatorio di Allergologia di Humanitas Gavazzeni Bergamo si occupa delle allergie respiratorie, allergie anafilassi alimentari, e allergie cutanee. In particolare è specializzato nella diagnosi e cura delle patologie allergologiche respiratorie (asma, rinite, congiuntivite). L’attività diagnostica dell’Ambulatorio di allergologia consiste in una prima visita in cui possono essere già eseguite alcune prove allergologiche per allergeni inalanti e alimenti. Lo specialista allergologo potrà poi in un secondo momento prescrivere altri test: test cutanei con estratti alimentari commerciali e test cutanei con alimenti freschi in caso di sospetto di allergie alimentari test cutanei con inalanti (prick test), o immunoterapia specifica (vaccini) per sublinguale in caso di sospetto di allergie respiratorie (asma e rinite allergica) patch test: che consistono nell’applicazione sulla pelle di cerotti contenenti estratti allergizzanti. Non vengono eseguiti test diagnostici per reazioni avverse a farmaci.
